Patrick R. Schambach – Advisory Board

Pat Schambach is an independent consultant having retired from Computer Sciences Corporation after a 41-year career in both the public and private sectors in the Washington, DC area. Pat is a recognized leader in the federal IT community. He spent 32 years in the federal government, rose to the ranks of senior executive and was the CIO for three different agencies during his federal career: the US Secret Service, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, and the Transportation Security Administration. In ten years in the private sector, he has been in senior leadership positions responsible for business units serving federal customers in the national security and law enforcement markets. From 2008 until his retirement in 2013, Mr. Schambach was the CSC Vice President and General Manager responsible for managing all business operations and service delivery for the Department of Homeland Security and its components as well as the Department of Justice and related Law Enforcement entities. While at CSC, Pat and his team grew his business unit’s revenue by 5x through purely organic growth. He now has his own consulting business. Mr. Schambach is: Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Homeland Security & Defense Business Council (HSDBC); a member of the Board of Directors of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA); a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross/Natl Capital Area. He also founded and still operates a teen volunteer program performing home improvements for subsidized housing tennants in the Reston/Herndon, Virginia area, while teaching skills to teen volunteers. Mr. Schambach has an undergraduate degree in Finance from Fairfield University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from George Washington University with an area of concentration in Information Systems Management. Pat and his wife have four children.
